Philosophy of Education

Gabby Christian Missionary School, Inc. as an institution of learning affiliated with Christian revival Church, shall develop and educate young citizens in the community to believe the existence of the Almighty God, and the purpose of all His creations, inculcate in their beings the love of country, respect of authority and love to fellowmen, with this education, the result of which is the development of good Filipino citizens with Christian values, and well-molded good moral character.

Goals of the Course

1.       Pupils/Students shall realize their potentials, utilizing their individual talents, in academic and extra curricular activities, with faith in God, reading His Word, and achieve Salvation.

2.       Achieve 100% literacy and excellence within the school year.

3.       Maintain the Quality Education all throughout the school year.

4.       Furtherance of the Evangelistic Ministry for students and staffs, and for them to learn the genuine basis of Christian Education, through Bible studies.

Basis of Christian Education

The Holy Bible is clear as to who bears the mandate in the education of children. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 states “And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children and shall talk to them when thou sittist in thine house and when thy walketh by the way, and when thou liest down and risesth up”.” Ephesians 6:4 “Further instructs parents to bring their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”These passages provide the home, school and church as sufficient basis to take responsibility in the teaching and training of children the way required by the scriptures. Education therefore, must be seen as the fulfillment of scriptural responsibilities, rather than just an enterprise conducted for pecuniary profit. True profit is to see our children accept our Jesus Christ as their Lord God and Savior, and develop an impeachable character through the assimilation of scriptural norms and be properly equipped with skills for the useful functions in life as Filipino citizens.

The Bible clearly establishes that both the church and the state are divinely ordained and are therefore, intended by God to complement each other. While “separation” exists, preventing the interference of one with the other’s basic concern, yet such separation does not mean there should be lack of mutual respect and coordination especially in the area of education, a happy balance can be worked out between legitimate interest of the state and exercise of religious freedom by Bible-believing churches. Such coordination can produce men and women who are both intensely nationalistic and absolutely God-fearing.

Curriculum

Accelerated Christian Education program combined with DEPED Conventional Program shall be maintained. Changes of teachers or new replacements at anytime of the year must be understood that it has no negative effect to the implementation of the Quality Education Program, since the Centralized Lessons or Lesson Implementation Guide, are implemented to all branch Schools' rooms, to be achieved within the School Year.

The criteria for ENGLISH GRAMMAR AND COMPOSITION, which is WRC, (WRITING Excellence, READING Proficiency, and COMPREHENSION in Grammar) in the sense that the pupil/student is able to relate, express and speak English fluently whether in casual or formal conversation, oral and written.

SCIENCE AND MATH include: Physics, Chemistry, Biology I and II, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus and Elementary/College Algebra), the criteria to be achieved: Definition of terms, Learning Mathematical Signs, Problem Analysis and Formula, and the Mechanics of problem-Solving.

COMBINING OF CLASSES of any high school or selected elementary levels shall help the students widen their English proficiency, Mathematical knowledge, remembering what they have neglected, and gaining advance know-how in the mechanics of problem-solving or definition of mathematical or scientific terms and signs, and other major/minor subjects.

EXTENDED CLASSROOMS in EP Village, Western Bicutan are intended for those financially incapable of daily fare and provision though enrolled in Bicutan – main school, but shall attend classes in the intended classroom at Ep Village. EP Village is also a government-recognized one.
